Atte Korhola on ympäristömuutoksen professori Helsingin yliopiston bio- ja ympäristötieteiden laitoksella, missä hän johtaa Ympäristömuutoksen tutkimusyksikköä (ECRU) ja toimii ympäristöbiologian pääaineen vastuuprofessorina. Hänen erityisalanaan ovat pitkän aikavälin ympäristömuutokset, erityisesti ilmastonmuutos ja sen ekologiset ja yhteiskunnalliset vaikutukset.
